This is plate 7, The Water Shrew or Oared Shrew, (now Neomys fodiens) from "Mammalia - Volume VII"

Titled beneath the image. A lovely steel engraved print enhanced with attractive original hand colouring. 

Fine condition other than some light age toning towards the extremities.

  Approx. 6.5" x 4"(160mm x 100mm) overall. Blank verso. 

Would frame up nicely for display.
