This is plate 29, Crypterus Rufescens a South American game bird of the Rhea family, from "The Natural History of Game Birds ".

Titled beneath the image. A lovely steel engraved bird print enhanced with attractive original hand colouring. 

Fine condition.

  Approx. 6.5" x 4"(160mm x 100mm) overall. Blank verso. Would frame up nicely for display.
