Accompanying the print are associated botanical notes.

Fine condition save for very light off setting. Credited & dated within the plate.  

Measuring approx. approx 9"x 5"( 230mm x 130mm) overall.

Walter Hood Fitch (28 February 1817 – 1892) was a  botanical illustrator, born in  Glasgow, who executed some 10,000 drawings for various publications. He  illustrated some 2700 plants  for  Curtis's Botanical Magazine.
