An attractiveand interesting large format copper engraved antique map of Northern Germany from the River Main to the Baltic and |North Sea coasts. Enhanced with original hand colouring with a key to identfy the Prussian territories, Kingdoms of Hanover and Saxony, Grand Dutchy of Hesse Cassel and Hesse D'Armstadt, Brunswick, free cities of Lubeck, Frankfort, Bremen and Hamburg.   

 A small edge split to the original centre fold has been reinforced verso and a light diagonal crease traverses the right hand side, otherwise fine condition. Printed on heavy grade paper, blank verso. 

Approx. 24" x 19" (600mm x 490mm) printed area only with margins beyond.
