 Published London 1794 by Charles Dilly in Guthrie's "A New Geographical, Historical and Commercial Grammar and Present State of the Several Kingdoms of the World".

An original and attractive18th century copper engraved antique map of India, Ceylon (Sri Lanka),Burmah (Myanmar), present day Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal etc.

Enhanced with original outline hand colouring, with full wash colouring to;

 "Territories ceded to the British by Tipoo Sultan according to the partition treaty made at Seringapatam in 1792" 

The area is marked with the numeral 1 and coloured red. Similarly the green wash and #2 refers to that ceded by the Nizam and yellow wash and #3 by the Paishwah.

Fine condition other than insignificant age related blemishes, free of repairs or restoration, fold lines as issued.

 Approx. 9" x 7" (220mm x 190mm) printed area only with good margins beyond.
