 "The History and Topographical Survey of the County of Kent".

An original 18th century copper engraved antique county map of Kent, England.

Hasted's highly detailed map provides a fascinating record of Kent in the late 1700's. A scarce map.

The detail includes roads and topographical features, with the county hundreds identified in a lettered key.

 A large format map enhanced with later hand colouring. 

A 3" tear through the right hand border has been repaired verso along with 2 other small edge tears. 

There is also some reinforcement verso to some intersections of the original fold lines and some minor creasing. The map however presents very well indeed and would frame up beautifully for display.

Approx. 28.5" x 20.5" (730mm x 520mm) overall.
