Engraved by J&C Walker and published by Edward Stanford, London circa 1840 for "The Society For The Diffusion Of Useful Knowledge".

An attractive and highly detailed steel engraved map of north eastern France. Extends from Paris eastwards to the Swiss and German borders and south to Charolles, Moulins etc. Original full hand colouring.

Fine, unmarked condition. Not folded.

 Approx. 16" x 12" (400mm x 310mm) map area only, with  margins beyond.  Would frame up well.
