An interesting and good sized original copper engraved antique map of Roman settlement in Northern Britain.

Dated in the plate (1805)

Coverage includes The Antonine Wall (marked as Graham's Dyke), Hadrian's Wall and the many Roman remains of Northumberland and Southern Scotland.

 Fine condition other than insignificant age related blemishes, fold lines as issued, blank verso.

Approx. 18" x 15" (460mm x 390mm) map area only with good margins beyond.
