An original colour printed set of antique city plans of Rome, Italy during the time of Emperor Augustus.

The main map depicts Rome under Emperor Augustus with an inset map of the Forum Romanum.

The lower left map shows the Forum Romanum under Caesar and the lower right map shows the city at the time of the Free Republic founded by Tullius.

 The large scale offers great detail including individual buildings and street names.

Fine, clean condition, free of repairs or restoration, centre fold as issued, blank verso.

Approx. 16" x 13" (410mm x 330mm) map area only, with margins beyond.
