An original early 18th century copper engraved antique map of the Isle of Thanet, Kent, England by Samuel Parker.

An unusual map with churches, mills, villages and individual buildings represented pictorially and the roads radiating out from Margate. An inset engraved view depicts the North West prospect of St. Mary Minster

The leading image shows the map as it would appear when mounted/matted ready for framing. See also close-up and overall views.

Some insignificant age related blemishes as seen and a short split to the original centre fold has been repaired verso. Side margins close trimmed.

 Approx. 17.5" x 15" (450mm x 390mm) overall.
