An interesting , scarce and detailed , early 18th century antique road strip map, showing the continuation of the route from St David's to Holywell starting at Talybont and passing through Bala & Ruthin .

This atlas was never re-published and is therefore quite scarce.


The map depicts a route in the form of 6 vertical strips with a compass rose showing orientation; additionally, miles, furlongs, towns, churches, windmills, rivers and hills are depicted.

Based on the earlier survey of the roads by John Ogilby and bearing a dedication to Watkin Williams within the central cartouche.
