A good sized fine copper engraving of a children's hospital (meaning a place of refuge rather than for medical care) in Batavia, Java, East Indies, present day Jakarta, Indonesia. The scene is animated with lively figures of children with native and European helpers.

A crisp, dark impression in fine, unmarked condition. Fold lines as issued.
