A fine original antique steel engraving of Derwentwater, Keswick, Cumbria in England's Lake District.

Turner's famous set of views are characterised by his inclusion of foreground interest, in this case a family and their boat on the lake shore.

The lead image shows the engraving as it would appear when mounted/matted ready for framing. See also an overall view.

The print is accompanied by the original page of interesting descriptive text about the Derwentwater. 

 An attractive good sized print for framing and display, dated in the plate (1837).

Fine, clean condition other than insignificant age related blemishes, printed on heavy grade paper, blank verso.

Approx. 12" x 9"(300mm x 230mm) overall.
