Light age toning otherwise fine, virtually unmarked condition.Credited & dated within the plate. Accompnaying the print are associated botanical notes from the "Medical Botany".

William Woodville (1752 - 1805) was an English physician and botanist. Elected a fellow of the Linnean Society in 1791. He published the "Medical Botany " to provide more modern descriptions and illustrations of all the plants in the Royal College of Physician’s list of “material medica” or plants used in medicine.

James Sowerby (21 March 1757 – 25 October 1822) was an English naturalist and artist, renowned for his beautiful botanical illustrations
