An original 18th century copper engraved antique print of Beaufort House, Chelsea, Middlesex, England by Van Der Aa.

A reduced version of Johannes Kip's sweeping bird's eye view of this fine stately home , originally the residence of Sir Thomas More it was demolished in 1740 by Hans Sloane the owner of the manor of Chelsea.

Further houses are also identified on the engraving, Holland House, Camden House and  Kensington  House.

.A crisp dark impression on robust hand laid paper, blank verso.

Fine, clean condition, free of repairs or restoration. Central fold as issued.
