Alfred Louis Brunet-Debaines (1845-1939) was a noted French etcher and in his early years was a pupil of the master engraver Maxime Lalanne at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.
He did spend much of his career in London and Scotland however and exhibited frequently at The Royal Academy between 1872 and 1886.
