A copper engraved antique portrait of George Keppel, English soldier and nobleman also known as Viscount Bury, later to become the 3rd Earl of Albemarle.

 Fine condition other than minor age blemishes.

 Printed on hand laid paper, blank verso.

Approx. 8" x 5" (200mm x 120mm) overall.


The Universal Magazine was a popular 18th century illustrated periodical.

  It was established in 1747 by John Hinton and ran until 1799. The fine copper engraved illustrations and maps are widely collected.
