An attractive view of Glanusk Park, Crickhowel, Brecknockshire (now Powys), Wales. The fine house was demolished in 1952 but the estate is still an important venue for shooting and equestrian events.
Drawn by A.F.Lydon and published circa 1880 by Reverend F.O.Morris for his "A series of Picturesque Views of the Seats of the Noblemen and Gentlemen of Great Britain and Ireland".
The vibrant colours result from the Baxter printing processs using coloured wood blocks and remain bright and fresh.
Fine condition, blank verso and eminently frameable. Measuring approx. 7.5" x 5" ( 190mm x 130mm) image area only with good margins beyond.
