An original steel engraved Admiralty sea chart of the coast of Northern Ireland around Belfast Lough. A large format sea chart crammed with navigational information as well as a high level of terrestrial detail of the coastal settlements around Belfast, including Mill Isle, Donaghadee, Groomsport, Bangor, Holywood, Sydenham, Greencastle, Monkstown, Carrickfergus, Ballycarry etc. Shore profiles of Great Copeland Island and the coast around Carrickfergus are also featured, together with a compass rose and a scale of sea miles and cables. Navigation lights are picked out in yellow/red as issued. Fine, unmarked condition other than a small edge split repaired verso. Centre fold as issued. Printed on heavy grade paper, blank verso. Approx. 37" x 25" (950mm x 640mm) chart area only, with good margins beyond.
