A fine stipple engraved portrait of James Glencairn Burns, son of the celebrated Scottish poet Robert Burns.
James had an illustrious career in the British army, serving predominantly in India.

Beneath the portrait is his facsimile signature.

Fine unmarked condition. 

Approx. 10" x 7" ( 260mm x 180mm) overall as depicted,
printed on heavy grade paper, blank verso. Would frame up well  for display
