"Atlas Historique et Geographique".

An original 18th century steel engraved antique map of The World in twin hemispheres.

North and south polar regions are featured in the upper corners and comparative charts of river lengths and mountain heights in the lower corners. Dated in the plate.

Enhanced with attractive original hand colouring which remains bright and fresh.

Fine condition other than minor age related blemishes as seen, free of repairs or restoration, blank verso, central fold as issued.

Approx. 16.5" x 11" (420mm x 280mm) overall.
