Sir Francis (Frank) Job Short (1857-1945) was a highly respected English etcher and painter originally from Worcestershire but who spent much of his working life in London.

Among many prestigious positions in the world of engraving art, he was President of the Royal Society of Painter Etcher & Engravers from 1910 to 1938 and was knighted in 1911.

A highly prolific exponent of the art with around 300 known original etchings to his name.
