From William Maitland's "The History and Survey of London From Its Evolution to the Present Time"

An interesting and highly detailed copper engraved street plan of Queenhithe and Vintry Wards in the city of London. Covers Thames Street, Old Fish Street, New Queen Street, Little Trinity Lane, Brooks Wharf etc. 

The plan is further decorated with the arms of Sir Crispin Gascoyne and Marsh Dickinson to whom the plate is dedicated. Also displayed is an engraving of the parish church of St.Michael's Queenhythe.

Some light dampstaining around the upper border.

Approx. 14" x 9" (360mm x 230mm) printed area only, with margins beyond, on hand laid paper, blank verso.
