An interesting antique steel engraving of fishing boats on the River Shary, also Chari or Shari in present day Chad, Africa. Captain Hugh Clapperton drew the scene during his 1825 Africa expedition.

Fine condition other than a few faint patches of browning.

 Approx. 8" x 6" (200mm x 140mm) printed area only with good margins beyond on India paper.
