An attractive and good sized hand coloured engraving of the Parc de Saint Cloud, near Paris. Dated in the plate.

Built by Napoleon, the tower was destroyed by the Prussians in 1870 but the panoramic view of Paris from the site is still enjoyed and the location remains known as La Lanterne.


Fine, clean condition.

Approx. 10" x 6.5" (250mm x 160mm) image area only with good margins beyond.

Printed on a heavy grade wove paper, blank verso.
