SWITHLAND HALL

Drawn by A.F.Lydon and published circa 1880 by Reverend F.O.Morris for his "A series of Picturesque Views of the Seats of the Noblemen and Gentlemen of Great Britain and Ireland".
An attractive view of Swithland Hall, former seat of the Earl of Lanesborough and his family, in Swithland, Leicestershire. Designed by James Pennethorne and completed in 1852.
The vibrant colours result from the Baxter printing processs using coloured wood blocks and remain bright and fresh. Neatly presented in an ivory coloured bevel cut mount ready to frame. Please note that only a section of the mount is shown to facilitate closer inspection of the image area.

Fine unmarked condition.

Approx. 8" x 6.5" (200mm x 160mm) image area only. The overall size including the mount is approx. 13" x 11" (335mm x 285mm)
