 A highly detailed large format original antique map of South Eastern USA.

Covers  Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, with parts of Florida, Kentucky and Virginia.
  
The high level of detail can be seen in the close up images provided. 

  An attractive map enhanced with original colouring, printed on heavy grade paper, blank verso. Central fold as issued.

  Some splitting/tearing to the centre fold has been reinforced verso but is barely visible.

 Approx. 20"x 15" (500mm x 400mm) map area only with good margins beyond. 

Archibald Fullarton (1809 -1896) originally published his Royal Illustrated Atlas from 1852 as a part work and it remains an iconic atlas characterized by finely detailed engraving and wonderful illustrations. Even the maps lacking illustrations are delicately coloured in pastel shades and are widely collected for their decorative appeal.
