An attractive and finely executed copper engraving of Rhuddlan Castle, originally constructed in 1277 by Edward I within the historic boundaries of Flintshire.

Engraved by Sparrow and published London 1773 by Samuel Hooper in Francis Grose's "The Antiquities of England and Wales".

Dated, credited and titled in the plate.

A crisp impression.Fine, unmarked condition.
